Our projects

Our projects show the versatility of Energy Maintenance International. Short and long-term projects where we deploy our creativity, expertise and accuracy.

We ensure that our customers’ processes run optimally so they can focus on the business.

Blue Tern

On this vessel we have been working the last years to modify the tail-end bearing of their jacking system. This project contains our strengths in mechanical expertise and project management as multiple disciplines are involved to make this project to the success it has been thus far, which includes welding and inline machining. With our self-designed equipment such as the strongback and stackable frame with horizontal skidding features we can reach every location with minimum requirements of a crane. Our team of multi-disciplined labor has been successful in regards of planning, quality and without any LTI.

Inspecting winches

Overhaul anchor winch. For a client in the decommissioning we have been tasked to de-spool, overhaul and re-spool an anchor winch. We have completely dismantled the winch, modified the greasing of the mainshaft and renewed all bearings and seals. After complete inspection the winches has been blasted, NDT’ed, re-blasted, primed and coated in grey.

Dismantling and repairing drilling equipment

Overhaul Drilling Equipment (2ea BOPs and 1ea Annular): For a client in the decomissioning we have been tasked to completely dismantle all 3ea components for a 5-Yearly overhaul. A 5-yearly means that a complete stripdown is required and all is measured and checked according to standards. All seals have been renewed and after assembling the equipment has been tested with witness of a 3rd party. According to API-16AR and standard 53.

Modifying climbing pinion

For a client in the renewable’s energy, we have been asked to modify their climbing pinion. This pinion was part of a major project where we as EnergyMI have removed the current installed pinion and place the new modified pinion. As EnergyMI we made sure we make complete packages so offshore it was a matter of “plug & play”.

Overhauling feeder tables

For a client in the WtE we have been overhauling their feeder tables. These tables have a rotation of 2-years and in our workshop, we removed all mechanical parts like bearings, shafts etc. and after blasting the structural part has been repaired to have that as good as new. All mechanical parts were manufactured on forehand so we could continue with assembling and have these tables ready for installation in a short time.

Salvaging gearbox components

For a client in the renewables, we have changed out a jacking gearbox on board their rig and after that we were in the process of opening this box and perform an inspection to determine which parts could be salvaged and used for the future.

Modifying Iron Roughneck

For a client in the O&G we have been asked to completely dismantle their Iron Roughneck and inspect what needs to be renewed, repaired and/or modified.

Inspecting hydraulic cylinders

For a client in the WtE we have been overhauling the hydraulic cylinders which have been removed from the installation. We completely disassembled these cylinders and after inspection we renewed the rejected parts. We executed a duration test after assembling.
