Energymi processes your personal data because you request a quotation from us through the website, or another channel, contact us by phone or enter into an agreement with us. Below you find an overview of the personal details we process:

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect information about website visitors who are under the age of 16. Unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children in order to prevent any data being collected about them without parental permission. Energymi processes your personal information for the following purposes:

– Energymi analyses your behaviour on the website in order to improve the website and adjust the services to your preferences.
– Energymi follows your surfing behavior on different websites, so we can attune our services to your needs.
– Energymi also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data that we need for our tax return.
Automated decision making
Energymi doesn’t make decisions based on automated processing, which can have (considerable) consequences for persons. These are decisions which are made by computer programs or systems, without the involvement of a person (for example an employee of Energymi).
How long we keep personal data
Energymi keeps your personal information no longer than strictly necessary to realize the goals for which your information is collected. Personal details which are given for requesting a quotation are removed as soon as the returned quotation is refused by the customer. Personal data of customers who agree to this will be withheld for personal contact during the purchase of our services. When customers have had no contact with Energymi for more than two years, their personal data will be removed (except data needed for tax purposes).
Sharing personal data with third parties
Energymi does not sell your information to third parties and provides them only if necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to meet a legal obligation. With companies which process your information on our behalf, we make a processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your information. Energymi remains responsible for this processing.
Cookies, or similar technologies, that we use
Energymi uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that at the first visit to this website is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone. Energymi makes use of Google Analytics, a webanalyse service of Google Inc. Energymi does this to see how the website is used. Google Analytics provides clear reports on the use of our website. Google Analytics generates information about your use of our website by placing a so-called cookie on your computer.
Energymi has made a processing agreement with Google Inc. The information which Google Analytics collects for us, is anonimized as much as possible and is not personally traceable. Energymi has not given Google Inc. permission to share this information with their own commercial departments, or to provide this information to third parties, unless Google Inc. is legally obliged to do so, or if third parties process the information on behalf of Google Inc. Unfortunately Energymi has no influence on the latter.
Google reCAPTCHA
On this website we also use the function reCAPTCHA by Google. This function is used primarily to distinguish whether an entry is made by a natural person or by machine and automated processing. The service includes the transmission of the IP address and all other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google. Viewing, modifying or deleting data
You have the right to see, correct or remove your personal details. You also have the right to withdraw your permission for the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Energymi and you have the right to data portability. That means that you can make a request to us to send the personal information that we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you. You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or a request to withdraw your permission or to object to the processing of your personal data to receptie@energymi.eu. To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. Make in this copy your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) black. This is to protect your privacy. We respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks. How we secure personal data
Energymi takes the protection of your information seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized changes. General Data Protection Regulation (AVG)
Does Energymi comply with the AVG?
Yes, Energymi has taken several measures to ensure that we comply with the new General Data Protection Regulation Act (AVG). We have among others: an SSL-certificate on our website, updated the privacy statement, updated the cookie statement and made strict arrangements regarding tracking and measurability. Where necessary, we have entered into processing agreements with third parties who store data for us. In addition, we offer the customer insight into the personal data, they can view, modify or delete.
